Getting Started
Spacebar Clicker runs in your browser with no download and no signup.
Go to the homepage and you will see the game loaded and ready. Press the spacebar on your keyboard or tap the large on-screen key. Each press adds points. You start at one point per press.
Step 1: Start Clicking
Every spacebar press adds points to your score.
Click the SPACEBAR button or use your physical spacebar key. Watch the large score at the top. It updates instantly on every hit.
Check the CPS stat to see how many times you press per second. Check Per Hit to see how many points each press earns after you buy upgrades.
Step 2: Buy Your First Upgrade
Spend points on upgrades that multiply your score.
When you have enough points, look at the upgrade shop on the right (below the game on mobile). Affordable items show a highlighted border.
- Manual upgrades like Spring Key and Clicking Glove raise your points per press.
- Auto upgrades like Auto Presser and Robot Finger add passive points every second.
Buy Spring Key first, then save for Auto Presser. That mix gives you faster early growth than clicking alone.
Step 3: Balance Manual and Auto Income
Click while your auto upgrades earn points in the background.
Manual clicking spikes your score when you play actively. Auto upgrades keep earning when you pause to read the shop or step away briefly. The best runs combine both.
Step 4: Read Your Stats
Four numbers tell you exactly how fast you are progressing.
- Your Score — total points you have right now.
- Per Hit — points you gain on each spacebar press.
- CPS — how many times you press the spacebar per second.
- Auto/s — passive points your generators produce each second.
Step 5: Save and Come Back Later
We save your progress automatically in your browser.
Your score and upgrades save every 30 seconds and when you close the tab. Tap Save anytime to store progress manually. Return on the same device and browser to pick up where you left off.
Reset Your Game
Tap Reset if you want a fresh start. A confirmation screen appears before anything deletes. Resetting clears your score and upgrades permanently.
Play on Mobile
On phones and tablets, tap the SPACEBAR button on screen instead of using a keyboard. Every feature works the same, including upgrades, combos, and auto-save.
